ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT · VERSION 1 · 2 OCTOBER 2026

A SITE EVERYONE CAN USE.

Our target is WCAG 2.2 level AA. This statement says how we check the site, what we know is not yet right, and how to tell us about a barrier.

OUR TARGET

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It includes every WCAG 2.1 level AA criterion, the level referenced by the Indian accessibility standard IS 17802.

HOW WE CHECK IT

  1. 01Every release is checked against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules of the axe engine, on every page, at phone and desktop widths.
  2. 02Every page reflows to a window 320 pixels wide with no sideways scrolling and nothing cut off.
  3. 03Buttons and links in the header and page content are at least 44 pixels tall on touch screens, checked on ten device sizes from a folding phone to a 4K screen.
  4. 04With reduced motion set on your device, animations are replaced by their end state.
  5. 05Moving content can be stopped. The event strip on the home page stops while you point at it or focus it with the keyboard, and holds when you click, tap or press Enter or Space on it. The demo Match has a Play and Pause button.
  6. 06Every page has a skip link to the main content. After you follow a link, focus moves to the new page's content.
  7. 07Forms list every error at the top, move focus to the first field that needs attention, and tie each message to its field.

WHAT IS NOT YET RIGHT

  1. 01Our automated checks run in Chromium-based browsers. We have not yet completed testing with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
  2. 02The event strip on the home page has no separate pause button. The strip itself is the control.
  3. 03Windows high-contrast (forced colours) mode has dedicated styling for form controls alone, and has not yet been tested.
  4. 04The site is in English only.
